NetX Privacy Policy
Your privacy is our priority. Learn how NetX protects your data and respects your privacy rights.
Last Updated: January 01, 2026Welcome to NetX
Thank you for choosing NetX! Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our app.
Our Privacy Promise
NetX is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe you should have complete control over your data. Our app operates entirely on your device, and we do not collect or store any personal information.
NetX is a network utility tool that helps you monitor and optimize your mobile network connection. We provide real-time network information, speed tests, and network optimization features — all while respecting your privacy.
Information We Collect
We do not collect or store any personal data from users. NetX operates as a local network utility tool that functions entirely on your device.
What We Don't Collect:
- Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data (unless explicitly permitted by you for specific features)
- Contact lists or messages
- Photos or media files
- Browsing history or search queries
- Device identifiers for tracking
Zero Data Collection Policy
NetX follows a strict "Zero Data Collection" policy. All network analysis, speed tests, and optimization features work locally on your device. No data is sent to external servers unless you explicitly use features that require internet connectivity (like speed tests to external servers).
Network Information:
NetX displays real-time network information that is already available to your device through Android's system APIs. This includes:
- Current network type (2G/3G/4G/5G)
- Signal strength indicators
- Network operator information
- Connection status
This information is processed locally and never leaves your device.
Permissions & Usage
NetX requires certain permissions to function properly. These permissions are used only for their intended purposes and are never abused.
Required Permissions:
| Permission | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Required | To detect current network type and connection status | |
| Required | To monitor Wi-Fi connectivity and signal strength | |
| Required | To enable network mode switching (4G/5G only mode) | |
| Optional | Only if you enable location-based network features | |
| Optional | For network alerts and speed test notifications |
Permission Control
You have complete control over permissions. You can grant or revoke permissions at any time through your device settings. NetX will continue to function with limited features if you deny certain permissions.
How We Use Permissions:
We only use the permissions granted by you to:
- Display real-time network information
- Perform accurate speed tests
- Enable network optimization features
- Provide network alerts and notifications
- Improve user experience based on network conditions
No permission is used for data collection or tracking.
Third-Party Services
NetX may integrate with third-party services for specific functionalities:
Google AdMob
Our free version of NetX displays Google AdMob ads to support development costs. AdMob may collect data for personalized advertising purposes.
- AdMob's data collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy
- You can opt out of personalized ads in your Google Account settings
- No personal data from NetX is shared with AdMob
Advertising Information
NetX Pro (Paid Version): If you purchase NetX Pro through in-app purchase, all ads are removed, and no advertising data is collected.
Speed Test Servers
When you perform a speed test, NetX connects to third-party speed test servers. These servers may collect:
- Your IP address (for routing and measurement)
- Test results (speed, ping, jitter)
- Timestamp of the test
This data is necessary for accurate speed measurement and is not linked to your personal identity.

- No data is transmitted to external servers
- Local storage uses Android's secure storage mechanisms
- App preferences and settings are device-specific
No Data Collection
NetX does not implement any data collection mechanisms. There are no:
- Analytics trackers
- Usage monitoring
- Crash reporting (unless explicitly enabled by you)
- Behavior tracking
Privacy by Design
NetX is built with "Privacy by Design" principles. Every feature is evaluated for privacy impact before implementation. We default to the most private option and give you control over any data sharing.
App Permissions
We request only the minimum permissions necessary for core functionality. Each permission has a clear purpose and is not abused for data collection.
Regular Security Reviews
We regularly review our code and dependencies for security vulnerabilities and privacy issues. Updates are released promptly to address any concerns.
